Review Policy

Although I have developed a few "favorite" authors, I will never show favoritism in my reviews. Each review is my own opinion, and is not influenced in any way by the publisher or the author. I do not get compensation in any form for my reviews, although I am gifted a copy of the book for review purposes.

I do NOT review gore, erotica, murder-related, pornography of any kind, vampire, or science fiction. I have occasionally reviewed non-fiction if it interests me.

I prefer to review Romance, Amish Romance, Christian Romance, Paranormal Romance, Chick Lit, YA, and General Romance. If you are not sure if your book would fit into any of these general categories, please feel free to contact me with a book cover and short synopsis of your book for my consideration. If your book does not fit any of the accepted or non-accepted categories, please also forward the same for consideration. If you are still unsure of the types of books I like to read, please look at the list of books I consider to be my favorites that I have listed down the left side of my blog. Maybe your book will be lucky enough to join them!

Average review time can vary, but I usually try to keep it within 10 days, depending on the size of the book and the number of books in que before I get to your submission. I will always let you know how many are in que.

Please send all review submissions with cover art and a brief (one page or less) synopsis of the book for consideration to cybersnob7@gmail.com and place the words "review request" in the subject line.

*Important: I prefer to review a paperback copy of each book (some PDF's are acceptable), as I am not set up for ebook reviews yet.

*PLEASE READ...I am a strong advocate of the old saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". If, for some reason, I am unable to complete your book, or I find it does not suit my taste, I will not give a harmful review that would destroy the author's chances to sell their books to others who might really enjoy the book (I've seen such reviews, and I feel the reviewer should be ashamed for writing such destructive reviews). In those rare cases, I will contact the author or publisher and it will be at their discretion as to whether they want to move forward with the review. I understand that I may not like all books I read for review, but I would never ruin it for someone else who might love the book.

I reserve the right to reject any book for submission.
